Economic Tech tree

Hello once again Ladies and Gents, if been a way for a while due to RL. For a while I watched several threads pop up about economics and I'd like to chime in.

The economics in CoW are dulled down and often left at the way side. In a game which far out strips S1914 in oil use (three types of tanks, 5 types of ships, planes ect) our nations economies are often being destroyed despite our best efforts.

While the game forces you to advance on wards and take more land, each time you build units to take more land, you use up resources and thus worsen your economy and upon taking new land, you're situation hasn't improved. I believe we've all looked at our oil and went "Oh lord"

So, I would like a tech tree which helps improve our domestic fronts. Things such as oil pumps (in order to produce, well, more oil) grain silos, Warehouses to hold stock pile of general goods, steel works and such things.

Also, I'd like to see a small upgrade to port cities: as a way of increasing grain production, we should be able to make 'fisheries' and have a small increase to grain (yes, I know its not fish, but grain is general food: no one wants to eat bread all year round, every month and every day)

So, if we can get some idea's, maybe we can have a full tech tree going

But yes, more economics, I agree

I like your ideas, @TankBuster

Really anything to make the economy more part of the game, it seems neglected

I think the game, is in need of a huge update..

and the economics, need more added..

as right now, It takes me a lot of work. to ensure, My production is okay to continue, so I dont run out of res.. etc

All due respect, missile silo's are very easy to see.

All due respect, this is just digging a hole. Not even a good hole at that, slit trenches are better.

Totally agree.

Underground, missile silos, hidden.. underground..

nah, not trenches, Id rather foxholes, and give them to units, such as paratroopers, commandos, marines

This is hard to hide:

What I'm saying is, it happens in battle anyway. It would be like adding snipers, it is something that is already part of the game, you just can't see it.

I guess you are right, troops do this small feature stuff..

but yea..

silos, nope..

Hidden silos, are hard to find, they still discovering some today..

and maybe they can be hidden on roads, between provinces?.. (maybe not.. cos of targeting)

but that picture, is prob hard to find, if you look all over Nevada..

Besides, deserts are more for testing than storing. Unless, of course, it is nuclear waste. It is perfect for this.

There are about, 900 recognized missiles in Nevada..

none near, Vegas by the way..

Well thats according to the USAF..

and hidden silos..

they dont really, tell everybody, where they all are..

Hahaha, this is actually funny. Fallout, y d1d u ly t0 m3!?!?!?!

If we can't see them though, how do we know they are really there? That is kinda like saying there is man behind you, you just can't see him, so trust me, he is there.

They dont tell you and me, where all the Nuclear missiles, are

like the Trident subs are. There is actually a reason for this. I never got into fallout, seems to be to my mistake. Seems like a great story.

Where are all the CV's the US has right now at? They tend to do this with all units.

Don't bother, I only know because my little brother played it in the same room I had my computer.

aahh...

yes exactly?

so how do you know, all of the Carriers are really there?

same fore missile silos, and I think it is more important, that they hide their long range nukes, than their Heart of their fleets

I will get back to this later.

Bee's are gone. Freakin' Imperial March stuck now...... I had a point.

Why would they care about the position of their nukes? The US has so many nukes that in the Cold War lots were set to strike tertiary targets like police stations. They have so many it doesn't matter how many they lose.

Well, in the event of the first strike. As you say, there are so many nukes, on both sides. They could take out, a lot of American nukes, before they get ready to counter strike. Why do they keep trident hidden?

Its harder to hit something, if you have no clue where it is.

There is plenty of ways to find them. The Russians and Chinese have satellites, they can track movement. Do you not find it suspicious if there is a dark circle on the ground with people that seem to park their cars in a car park and then disappear into thin air by said dark circle?

dont think, they had satellites here in CoW era..

And you opposed, my idea of spy planes, that would actually find these yolks..

Grand then.

Corona started in '56 and the Leopard MBT in game is from '65.
