I love the ease of the naval transport system.
I believe it would be further enhanced by allowing a 50-75% discount to the embarcing and disembarcing costs at friendly naval ports. A primary reason for Ports is to speed up loading and unloading times.
Wolfeman, there are already 10%, 30% and 50% reductions in embarkation and disembarkation times associated with completed L1, L2 and L3 naval bases, respectively. If you click on the building construction menu for any of your provinces, and then click on the "i" information button next to the naval base option on the menu, all of this is described in detail.
I like the long times when someone is trying to attack me and obviously don't like them when I'm trying to attack someone else
