Ferry range for aircraft.

Combat aircraft usually have two "range" ratings. One is it's "Combat Radius." This is the maximum radius from it's base that a combat aircraft can execute a combat patrol or attack. Meaning, with a full combat loadout, takeoff, fly to the target, spend 30 minutes over the target and return to base without refueling.

They also have a "Ferry" range. This is the one-way, non-stop flight distance that the aircraft can travel when flying with no ordnance and maximum fuel from point to point.

The aircraft in this game, as implemented, do not have a "ferry" range, only a "combat" range. This should be corrected so that aircraft can be relocated easier, and fewer airfields need to be built.

I totally agree. Aircraft as implemented make no sense.

Extremely true!

The past is a foreign country.
