Auto response by units under attack makes sense, though other issues come in...
Should they attack or retreat.
When you figure out that another player is going to be away from the game. It is easy to move artillery into the area and bombard them into nothingness. Allow ground units the ability to attack when they are not being directly controlled. that way, I don't just build 10 cannons and attack while you are sleeping or working.

Should this ever be considered as a feature,it must be an option, so that players can decide individually if they want their units to auto react.Fuzzy Nuts wrote:

Make it like the speed march. Activate the auto response and deactivate when you want.
