as you can see, in both i have a lot of territory and a good stock of food, also a good production, so it isn't a problem if you know how to handle it
Please increase the food production metrics in the larger map games. As the games mature, and larger armies are required, it is virtually impossible to maintain a positive food production. Thus, cities start to smoke, and morale drops, and you lose the cities. Not good. ![]()

The big killer for food production is the 75% non-core production penalty. This is a ridiculously high penalty. I suggest this penalty should be reduced. Possibly have this penalty reduced with each Industrial complex built by 10% with a further 5% for each Infrastructure Level developed for each province.
