Fortification suggestion.

Usually, forts are more effective in mountains like in the alps where the italiens build forts. also forts tend to be weaker on plains like on the magniot line. so many forts should be twice as effective when built in mountains but only half as effective in plains. :)

seems a valid point to me but it might be hard to code?

Well mountains are harder to attack in general, having a fort in there just multiplies the existing defense bonus... we wouldn't know about Maginot because it never actually was attacked, but several fortifications in flat terrain proved to be very effective (for example, El Alamein, Kursk, Siegfried line). So no, I don't think we need to differentiate fort effects like this.
