Discussing about lgbtq+ is like discussing about politics.

it shouldnt be discuss everyday by the majority

It's sad that acknowledging the existence of a small subset of people is somehow considered a political issue, but that's the world we live in these days I guess.

bc the small subset is getting weirdly "harsher" everyday and always do that on this social media, march irl. blah blah blah

we have serious issues globally and nationally and yet

we being so unreasonably angry about such a small problem

it's sad and depressing really

By small subset I meant the small percentage of people that identify as non-binary, not the small subset of weirdos who feel the need to make a big deal out of the existence of non-binary people.

The reality is, it doesn’t actually matter what you believe, there are people who identify a certain way, who may feel excluded by the absence of a simple ‘other’ box which you can write in your preferred gender.

No matter whether you think they ARE that or not, or whatever it is, people would still like to call themselves and refer to themselves as ‘they/them’ etc. That is the reality!

No one on this thread is getting angry, or provocative - the ‘controversy’ is completed fabricated by those who say it’s got ‘nothing to do with Call of War’. To that I say:

1. This is a forum, and not everything on it is to do with CoW. This particular suggestion was made in the relevant section (suggestions/criticisms), referring to the forum specifically.

2. How many threads are made which are ‘irrelevant’ and yet the same people see no problem with? To name a few - ‘We are the PEOPLE!’, ‘Brando dilla return’, ‘I set the world farting record’.

3. For heaven’s sake, get over yourselves! If you don’t agree, just say so - you don’t need to make it about anything other than the issue in forums.

Just be respectful. It’s so ridiculous. Y’all are normal people who deserve respect as does everyone. I could write more but I have a massive headache and actually can’t think. Just chillax and be respectful, fr.

Probably a suggestion for CoW to update their forum software too.

On that note, I'm a member of a couple other forums that have been using the Discourse software (not to be confused with Discord) and it is excellent.

Forum has built a nice community

I honestly doubt that but better than in-game global chat tbh

Chad take. I would try to add to this but you’ve basically summarized my thoughts here.

Why did this turn into a dumpster fire?

What did you expect?

Add an "other" category, where you can type it in, no need for anymore hassle, I mean, how many women have you actually seen on this forum (this isn't offensive, just a statement), I imagine the reason they didn't add it is because in 2015 the issue wasn't as relevant, and how many queer people will play (OI am using it as an umbrella term for the LGBTQ+ Community).
