the UK and France should have at LEAST one heavy tank. France had their Char B1, and Char 2C, the former made up a long of the Tank force, the UK had the Valentine, Matilda, and Churchill. Why do we not have them represented? I think France should have two or three heavies, one or two in the north for the B1s and one in the south for the 2C.

The UK had the least number of armed land divisions in Europe in 1939. The balancing is fine - Bytro did a good job all in all. They won’t change little things.

ah, understandable. I just find it a bit of a hassle that in HWW Germany can just steamroll everyone day one, and want a little bit of defense from Medium tanks

speaking of Germany being op, in my most recent HWW game, I think I may have forced Germany to the bargaining table. I'm playing as France, and he invaded me and Poland instantly, and he's teamed up with Italy and Spain. German just kinda...lemming trained his whole western military into Belfort and Metz, and was stopped, so its kinda just WWI 2 atm. So not only has the land offensive been halted, but his precious navy has been uh...He has a destroyer left. Here's to hoping for victory!

along with that, I'm kinda just...selling all my colonies? to get one, they pay upfront, and then declare war and get them. Only issue, no-one needs colonies anymore? I'm still doing it though cause it provides income

It’s true that countries are not completely balanced well, with Germany being especially overpowered. Indeed, Germany had a significant numbers disadvantage against the UK and France. It was less their large and powerful army and more better strategies that won them the early part of the war. The Soviets as well are under powered. Their army was quite well armed and much larger than Germany at this point. Even the US fleet should possibly be bigger, iirc. It’s just that if you give them to much they’d simply be too powerful, and Germany would be at a disadvantage. The trick with them is to use their higher resources to surpass the enemy, while you have to be faster with Germany.

I agree. Same for the Italians. Three countries with three different approaches and their own colonies should reflect that. Give the Eritrean countries Italian gear. Give Algeria and the North African colonies French gear. Give India the British gear they had. Rams, Universal Carriers, Valentines, Matildas, Churchills, A-9s, A-10s and Crusaders.
It would greatly enhance the aesthetic of the game
