French and British units

Hello, I found out that in game are 3 types of units: German, American and Soviet. Others countries has their units.

But why have France and Britain American units?? I know USA sent his unis to France and Britain to help at WWII but they has lot's of their units which they can use. For example lots of british fighters (Siptfire) others. Diversity will help this game.

An example of british and french tanks here:http://worldoftanks.eu/encyclopedia/vehicles

I guess this is all in the pipeline and too much for the Beta ;)

I love the work the devs did already here on the various models with pictures and all.

I appreciate that this game is in Beta and it's still WiP but that's why we are leaving suggestions like this

it bothers me to a large extent that there are no British units (French only had very early war units and very late war/post war units so I see why France would use American units) but the British had some of the most iconic units ever I can make an entire areal tree up on the fly

6 levels of each right? okay

interceptors: Gloster Gladiator (1) Hawker Hurricane (2) Baulton Paul Defiant (3) Supermarine Spitfire (4) Bristol Beaufighter (5) hawker Tempest (6)

tactical bombers: Bristol Beaufort (1) Bristol Blenheim (2) and idk in what tiers these will fall but theres the Blackburn Skua, De Havilland Mosquito (wich also would not be entirely out of place in the fighter line) the Fairy Gordon and I am sure you can come up with more

Strategic bombers: Avro Manchester (1) Vickers Wellington (2) Handley Page Halifax (3) Short Sterling (4) Avro Lancaster (5) some kind of jet thing idk

Naval bombers: I am not really into this but I can come up with this: Fairy Swordfish (1) Fairy Barracude (2) Short Sunderland somewhere around Tier 4 or 5

see? how hard is it to get some British units? also I do know that the RAF and RN will be much easier to implement then ground forces but yeah this is the airforce

If it helps the in-game image of US fighters on the map have RAF markings and roundels.

Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!

I don't think the image will help, the overall appearance is still the same, it's in the works I gueas so maybe, in time.

You can fill most of the tech trees, the armour section would be easy (Brits used M4s and such, so we steal those images) the air tree is pretty easy- and the naval tree would be a walk in the park!

The special tree however, i have no idea of.

i think he is talking about the in-game unit models, but pictures is all we can do for now. i have no idea with the special images though, i don't think the brits or french have jets at the time let alone rockets

The Brits had the first allied operational Jet, it also served in Korea.

Gloster meteor I believe.

Does it range with the timeline of CoW?

Let's just say it fought the missiles but not the jets.

within the timeline of CoW? I saw Russian bomber the Myasichev M-4 and that's from 1953 the most modern aircraft I mentioned was the Mosquito wich was a WW2 aircraft and yes the Brits did have jets infact the Brits had their first jet (Gloster Meteor 1944) before the Americans did

Remember this game goes on to early Cold War, we could get enough to fill in the tree. Brits definitely.
The past is a foreign country.

yeah, they change not only the infantry but the planes as well, not sure if there making localized units like brits or maybe even the japs but after the last update who knows what the devs have in their sleeves.
