I suppose you could always send them a direct message so not to forget them, with a password to a game and ask them to join, although I think a type of integrated friend system would be very good for the game and be helpful as well.
Friends List
Alliances are great and all, but they have a size cap and sometimes you want to keep in touch with people who are not in your current alliance.
I find it interesting how there are meta-game aspect like blueprints and alliances, yet we dont have our own personal buddies list. Being able to keep in touch with good players you meet from game to game would allow people a greater ability to organize games filled with only your friends, and friends of friends.
As there are no level sorting options, I feel this is a good alternative to our only two options (alliance games or open games).

no a friend list with an IM function is in a big need for this game. I have meet really cool people in games just to lose contact with them. This game is based on multiplayer and playing with other people this should be a main focus.... and it is also a great tool to keep players to stay active and to stay playing, ask anyone why they keep playing a game or keep working a shitty job they loved the people. allowing them easy connection like friend list with an IM system makes the game more fun and enjoyable because you enjoy it with your online friends as an online game which would make the game more popular or have more loyal players in the end.....i only see a win win here
