Game changes that will make call of war more complicated and fun.

  • Rivers to transport units of the naval brance and to be abel use them for battel inland.
  • Being abel to change the doctrines but only ones every 7th day. Haveing diffrent types of goverment where each system has diffrent pros and cons for example a dictatorship can give military bonuses but decreases economic activity and lowers the rate of moral increase. While if your a democracy you will have economic bonuses and your moral will increase faster.
  • Instead of provinces just doing revolts separatists will appear and try to liberate one specific area or region. For exampel if separatists appear in Tarakan thay will try to liberate your areas on Borneo to either join a other country or creat a new one(Like the Republic of Borneo). You would be abel to stop the rebellions either by giving in to their demandes( for exampel building more infrastructure or increasing their autonomy which will lead to you getting leass resources from the province) or just chrush the separatist army.
  • Diffrent levels of sovereignty from contry where you're your own boss down to satellite state where you don't have much to say about. You could elevate by for exampel declair a war of independance and can be decreased through other diplomatic means. In this new game version contries like British India could be a satellite state of great britan and can choose to declare independence or not.
  • Being abel to do more complicated trades. For exampel when two contries will negotiate peace they can choose if the entire country will be occupied or just some provinces, if one contry will pay another contry something or that their sovreginety level will change and so on. When it comes to things like giving someone right of way you will be abel to either give right of way through the entire country or just in some provinces.
  • Having military comanders so the only thing that decides how well a war will go based on the size of your army or the enviroment. You will be able to choose from diffrent commanders with diffrent advantages in diffrent scenarios and the cost for them will vary for exampel on commander will cost 10 000 a day another might just cost 2000.
  • Missions that if their completet will give diffrent bonuses. For example if Nationalist china manage to unify chinese nations(Nationalist china, Tibet, Xingjiang, communist china and Manchukuo) their military units will be 10% better.
  • When a player goes inactive their slot gets open to play and the occupied areas maybe becomes independent. For example if the UK goes inactive their colonies in Africa will become independent to form either a bunch of small countries, into a giant country or join a diffrent country( depending on the size of these new countries they will be playable).(Maybe if germany goes inactive so many provinces will become independet that the holy roman empier will come back)

I agree with most of these...but I feel the game is complicated enough already

Has been suggested many times. The response to this is:

For example, let's say Country B has the Allies doctrine, and Country A has Comintern. Country B and Country A go to war, and Country B decides to mass produce weak units to overwhelm Country A, as Comintern countries have cheaper production, but they are weaker. Suddenly, Country A decides to switch to the Axis doctrine. They has produced many troops, because they are cheap, but they were previously weak. Now, they have become powerful, as that is the Axis doctrine strength. Country B will stand no chance.

As you can see, it is more fair to have fixed doctrines.
