I was thinking that the developers could expand the game to more time periods, like a Mongol Empire civil war, or other things, past World War 2, because I would really like a Mongol Empire civil war game mode, or like the cold war, where you can build nuclear weapons faster, but attacking and movement of troops is limited.

That's a good idea, for a completely separate game. CoW is based around WWII because it's meant to be a WWII strategy game. I really think that your idea is good.
