Wow
GAME IDEAS
First time commenting.
I did not look at other suggestions yet as I did not want to lose my train of thought.
However the new additions to the game, as far as buildings, seems to be problematic.
Infrastructure? roads for troops to increase time is good. But it serves no other purpose? does not add to money, resources, population.. or even morale. Not much use considering the investment.
I play a multitude of strategy games... including but not limited to the Civilization games, AoE, damn even Evony. I have also played the Aquinto board games which I am dead certain CoW is loosely based on. As well as anything from Axis and Allies etc.
That said. Resources are to hard to come by. Growth is stunted, unless you coin. So my major suggestions are.. make investing in industry and other buildings worthwhile. Make it more important than troops.
That said, why do all strategy games have an issue with letting players have volumes of troops? it would be fun even in the early stages of the game to have fun troop formations. Hard to do with limited resources, again without coining.
And I have no issue spending. But lets make it logical. I don't want the game to not allow people who wont spend 50$ to play. Your customer/player base will just dwindle to nothing.
Industry seems to be one of the few buildings that are worthwhile. Infrastructure and even fortifications in a game of rapid moving borders is pretty mute. So either you slow down war declarations, or somehow slow down the evolution of each game. Stretch out the research maybe to longer?
For sure of the frontlines would be slower there would be more nuance, more need to build defense etc. and even roads at that point.
But definitely Infrastructure needs an overhaul. In my mind any building should provide more than just a basic need. Airfield should provide $$ .. and goods. Its commerce is it not?
Naval same thing. $$, food and goods?
Every province should yield a minimum of resources in all categories as well as any bonus.
Any Improvement should also up the morale and population count (manpower)
Radar, sea resources, mines(both land and sea), air balloons for sight? Rail lines? Major urban centers, and minor. where a minor city could build 1 unit producing building.
Also, geography. Especially Asia. There needs to be natural barriers.. impenetrable mountain ranges.. with only one or two ways to cross, would add dimension to large land masses like Asia and N.A and even S.A
More Islands. Not enough. And terrain needs major improvement, its not evident and important enough. I would also add environmental factors.. rain, cold, snow..etc. That played a HUGE factor in World War II
Tougher neutral countries (I would let them even create coalitions to counter evil empires lol)
And lastly... expansion fatigue.
Ive played 4 games and spent about 100$ These are my observations.
Very experienced crazed gamer here lol
Also, machine gun corps (infantry), and Engineer unit to install mines, build roads, railways, etc
Most definitely helicopters, gunships, heli-cruisers (Aircraft carriers for helicopters)
Also there needs a mechanism to heal troops. waiting the day turn is just tedious if we are limited in troops. Basically I am saying, we want to see more troops. Expand the battlefield or map if need to allow this. Make taking a city and or province a more expanded experience. I feel CoW is just on the verge of getting it.. of touching the gold lol
Maybe and expanded view of a province, like its own map? each province would have its own map? Thats a lot of input though. But was just a thought I want to put out there.
Hope my observations are helpful. Keep up the good work.

LOL, is that a good wow or bad wow? Im worried at the wow ahahah
great job
you gotta wait year btw but nice ideas
Why a year? Oh they update and make changes once a year?
seems a bit lengthy no?
i like the idea of buildings providing more than their basic needs, the new troops gets a thumbs up!!
but as for impenetrable mountain ranges? no, it can be exploited without much changes added, how about make it semi permeable? some unit types can enter but with added infrastructure any type of unit can move around
these are my two pennies

well unless you work as a historian and that the HISTORY Channel is wrong and the slew of books on it.
Then you are right.
lol
Did the Luftwaffe have helicopters?
Luftwaffe helicopters were not even that rare, they just didn't have a defined role yet, such as helicopters gained during the Vietnam War as troop carriers. A Flettner FL-282 taking off behind a Fieseler Fi-256.
When was the helicopter first used in war?
May 1944
The first recorded use of a U.S. helicopter in combat came in May 1944, when an Army chopper rescued four downed airmen behind enemy lines in Burma.
