Game runs for 24 minutes a day, then pauses until next day

The game movement is paused for most of the day. You can send messages, set production and movement orders etc. Then for 24 minutes, the game runs at 60 times speed, or 1 minute is 1 current hour. Then it pauses for another day.

I would assume this is a suggestion? It is worded like you are reporting it as an occurring bug, so my apologies if I've misunderstood.
The issue is, the 24 minutes you would want to play, after school, before you have to start your homework, is not the same time your opponents in Kenya and Sussex would be able to play. If the game is running 60X speed in short bursts, you would really want to be on as it occurred. Because this is a global game, and no time would be fair for everybody, this feature would never work.

Only a couple dozen people play any given map. You just need to have small groups that play at the same time. There's currently 37 new games on day one. There's 48 thirty minute blocks in a day. There could almost be one game spawned each day in every 30 minute block. Add to that certain time zones are more densely populated than others.

So you're saying you should only be able to play at certain amount times of the day? Or for a certain amount of time per day?
