Goa

During WW2, Goa was a Portuguese colony on the coast of western India, not far from the city of Pune.

However, there is no representation of this colony in HWW, which is odd, given that the HWW gamemode is supposed to feature accurate borders of 1939.

I suggest that a Goa province should be added. It doesn't have to be a city, but there should be something.

I believe Panjim should be added as an urban pronvince. The other two as rural food provinces. And mormugao/vasco da gama has to have an in-built port.
Goods and food, there is never two rural same resource making provinces in the same country next to each other. The local port would make sense though.

True, but it also could be split up into three provinces1. Panjim (North)2. Mormugao/Vasco Da Gama (Middle)3. Margao (South)
Danzig-style?
But that would only make sense if it was a city. There is no need for three rural provinces if they are useless over all, right?
Triple the income...

I thinks thatโ€™s about all right? Maybe give Panjim a level one barracks.

Judging from how small Goa is to the rest of India, I believe only one province should represent Goa.

I kinda agree. Just give Panjim a local port and a resource that Portugal doesnโ€™t make. It Macau is one province then Goa should be too right?

Well it's bigger than Luxembourg and Danzig. They have 3.

Honestly I never wanted them to either lol. Probably comes down to being city states so they let them have production of other resources. Goa being a Portuguese colony doesnโ€™t need this.

I believe Panjim should be an urban province like Macau. And have a port, production... well, food maybe?

That would make Portugal unrealistically overpowered.

Iโ€™d take a look at what resources Portugal has right now and give them the one they donโ€™t. Goa was important for trade with India so I could see Rare Oil or whatever they donโ€™t have (I donโ€™t have an HWW right now so I canโ€™t check) you can give them. But if itโ€™s something like Oil or Metal I donโ€™t think it would make sense right?

Portugal was somewhat wealthy even then due to trade. They wouldnโ€™t be made that much stronger by a non-core far away city TBH.

Other than food it could be rare. Goa is abundant is rares.

Considering that Portugal had only 6 million people at the time, giving them another city while countries like Siam only have one, would be unfair.

Well, Urban is also feasable. But the port must be there
