Gold Confirmation

Please Please PLEASE....can we not have a confirmation button for ALL Gold purchases? I just accidentally pressed the Gold button to lower morale of an AI/NPC province.

:wallbash

It cost me 2000 Gold and it affected a tiny NPC with only one province remaining (the one I lowered morale in) and I'm not even at war with that NPC.

I know that there are some Gold functions that have confirmation and the mobile version has added a few more, but why don't they give confirmation popups to all Gold functions? If it's a concern over making it tedious for people who want to spend lots of Gold, they could simply put an option in the settings for that player to choose to deactivate all Gold confirmation.

At the very least, would the staff be willing to replace my Gold?

Frankly, most of the Gold I spend is through accidental clicks. I rarely -- and I mean, RARELY -- ever choose to spend my precious Gold winnings. But when I do use them, I want it to be at a time and place of my choosing. Is that not such a reasonable demand?

:(

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
The saying, "beating them into submission until payday", is just golden...pun intended.

Dude, I think that's awesome what you have there. But in the very first entry, @Sasri left a message about it that you REALLY might want to pay attention too.

@Diabolical: Submit an in-game bug/incident report, with an explanation of the accidental use, and request a refund. I received a refund of 2,500 gold units in the last 24 hours for an accidental purchase of 5,000 tons of oil for 2,500 gold units in a game where I had 75,000 tons of oil in inventory and the game was already effectively over. This happens a lot, but most players don't bother to ask for a refund.

Bytro is well aware of this problem (see the responses in the July 9, 2017 thread linked above), but has failed to do anything about it despite multiple requests for a gold-use confirmation button over the last two years. It does not speak well of Bytro Labs' idea of customer service.

Per her request, I did not ping Sasri or Freezy again in this thread. They understand the message. Enough said.

You may not have pinged them, but they still read the forum. I know from experience that most of the staff does not like too many repetitions to a thread.
