I really do think that if they made games without gold, that it would be better for the players and the company. MANY players quit when they see someone spamming gold, so they quit and then some gold players just quit the game because they get annoyed and bored from that constantly happening. While at the same time, the other players will get a much better chance to have more fun at the game on an even ground. They will then be much more likely to tell their friends about it and thus, more gold players in return. The gold players will be less likely to quit as they can play against other gold players that are purposely in there knowing that they will face against players that won't just quit. So, in my opinion it is a win-win situation if Bytro decided to make No gold games.
I'm afraid this has been brought up quite a lot.
At the moment a very good option is to join the player's league games, or join and play alliance games or one of the RP group games.
All of these options come with specific rules regarding gold (non)-use.
