We have talked about this before. If an enemy is coming, the commander in that AO will order them to be destroyed.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
when taking a city that has grounded planes and rockets why cant you capture them and use them as you would in real battle. if the player is not active and don't use or move them under attack they should lose them to be used against them. this is how real war works. Spoils of war. just picking up the other players ammo per say. just like capturing a city with a ship in port. should fall under the control of the captor

The real problem is grounded planes having stats as if they are in the air, this restricts aerial warfare and removes the possibility of an effective preemptive strike on grouded airforces, besides being unrealistic and unviable
That is a bug, and they become super OP, not just having air stats.GeneralPhara wrote:

Oh thats why my heavy tank took ages to destroy a grounded Naval bomber once, oh the HT even ended with 20% hp !!!!!
lol, have you not heard about that bug? It was all the talk on the forums for about a week!
Without a mod/dev response ? that bug is ashame to game mechanics , may as well put a grounded airforce directly infront of an army advance to stop it !!
lol, that won't work. They have to be at an airfield. I think some mods commented on it but nothing more it seems. Unless the devs have their underlings working on it night and day in a mysterious place we know nothing of.
