So, why the heck would you make the button to buy something for gold work different then ALL the other purchase buttons? All the others you click that button and can adjust how much you want to buy and it gives you a second chance basically to change your mind. Knowing this, I clicked on the button to use gold to buy something and it just immediately took 2500 gold for the resources...I did not want to do that, but it works differently. Unless your just trying to trick someone into using their gold why else would you do that?

Because gold is the premium currency, and being one of the ways that the game is paid for by the community, it's there in an obvious way to make it easy for us to finance the hungry developers. Another fact is that you use gold to buy all the other resources. but you use money to get gold.
Makes sense?

Hey, sorry I didn't answer, went away for the weekend camping. It doesn't only because it is confusing. I get that gold is can be bought with real money which makes the game, but for those that don't know, or briefly forget, that it works different then all the other buttons like it, you suddenly loose gold that you were not expecting to spend. It just seems like a "money grab" type thing that should be changed in my humble opinion...I wasn't expecting to spend the gold when I clicked it, because it should be like that.
P.S, thanks for moving it, sorry for putting it in the wrong section!
I have done that before a couple times, accidentally speeding up troop production or research time. After that I make sure I press the correct buttons now haha.
You are right.Kalantigos wrote:
