Wait until morning and lose a few hours. Not worth messing up your sleep just to get a few hours. Save those sleepless nights for when you are attacked by three players at once and have to save your skin.ender611 wrote:

Yeah, it's just a video game. A few hours aren't that bad...
Yeah I like the idea of queuing research as well, as I presume that is what you mean. It has been mentioned a few times before and has gotten good support, but I can't remember if staff said anything about it.
Would beef up the desire to have high command. As a noob high command got me in trouble with the free week of it I had. Ended up struggling for food and oil. And with three games going I felt I couldn't be without it while learning the game. A few dollars went to buying food, oil and manpower with gold. Will try not to be in that situation again.
I guess I am a rather impatient sort, in that, if I didn't have high command, and a unit's production completes in the middle of the night before I can start producing a different unit, I would probably spend the 3 cents to get things rolling. High Command might partially pay for itself in that respect, but I just think it needs to be beefier.
But reading what more experience players think, perhaps I sweating over the little stuff.
All and all though, after spending allot of gold on things I would not in the future, the hours of play per dollar spent was very cheap entertainment.
HC definitely needs more features in my opinion. Queuing research is definitely one, and there have been other features suggested over the years that I can't remember. I don't know if HC currently has it, but if it doesn't HC users should automatically become Frontline Pioneers for the duration of their HC subscription.
Often suggested. The small amount of gold that a few hours of research speed up costs though is really a bargain. If research is at the point where 500 gold will finish it so I can start another and go to bed then I will do that.
Having the mobile app on your phone you can turn on notifications of research completing, which works fairly well. Even if I don't use the app much the push notifications are fantastic.

Do you think HC needs/deserves/should have more features though @VorlonFCW
I have suggested this myself. Freezy acknowledged that a research queue would be a very desirable added benefit of High Command membership, and said that it was already on the list of features to be considered for future additions to HC.Quasi-duck wrote:

Yeah I remember it had been suggested multiple times just couldn't remember the result. I'd love to see how far down it is on their to-do list though.
Using a small amount of gold to accelerate research 60 or 90 minutes before you go to sleep is relatively inexpensive. That is often a smart move, rather than losing 7 or 8 hours of free research time while you are sleeping.VorlonFCW wrote:

Accelerating a complete research cycle, either because you have fallen behind, or because you want to add another unit type that simply does not fit your already-full 24/7 research schedule (e.g., battleships and aircraft carriers), can be expensive. If memory serves me right, it costs something like 1,750 gold units to accelerate a research cycle by 12 hours, and most research cycles above L1 are 30 to 36 hours long (and rise incrementally with each level), and some, like heavy tanks start at nearly 48 hours at L1.
My advice: choose your unit types wisely, and always keep those unit types you have chosen to produce at their current research level.
