Hospitals? No, something better!

NO! It's not a hospital suggestion, although this subject has already been discussed several times and it seems that Bytro doesn't care much about this build, perhaps because he doesn't want to be too similar to the company's other games. But I have a revolutionary idea when it comes to "fixing the life" of units, because in a war there are always doctors or mechanics to use, tear or damage.

A suggestion here, because instead of adding a hospital, building that fix the troops' lives or creating a unit with a doctor, you don't do the following:

As the system to improve the units, create one more option, which can recover your HP. Taking into account that when starting this repair (a set time) they will have the same attributes as a unit update. Do they remain immobile, cannot be canceled and would there be a resource cost to do so? I think it would be an innovative idea instead of putting hospitals or other units. Since, to fix a tank you would have to fix it in the same place you are (due to the lack of winch for mechanics) or heal the wounded (due to the lack of medical units).

What do you think of this?

Dude you're suggestion is just not that good. Get over it.
Which units usually play on the battlefield?

Erm... what kind of question is that?

I don't know what your intention is. You are trying to spoil the argument that was proposed. Why don't you have a better one. You have to accept that we are suffering for lack of a system that restores a better life, you can't deny that, my friends say the same thing, the community says the same thing. Or are you the best in the world that you don't need it? Look at you.
Really, seems like you are exaggerating a bit there. Seems that the Discord expert players are on my side on this one.Forum attachment

I'll hunt them down on some map. Let's see if they really are an expert.
I agree with BM here, come and hunt me too.

I too would like to see the opportunity to restore unit strength. I'd see something along the lines of withdrawing the unit to the relevant production city, for example one with a barracks for infantry and in effect the rebuilding of the damaged unit in much the same way as one would produce a new unit. The resources and men required would be reflected in the amount of damage the unit had received.

It would give players the option of taking the time and effort to restore & refit units as opposed to building new ones.

I agree with this statement. Allowing units to regenerate on the battlefield is just too OP. Instead, as this post talks about, the units should only be able to regenerate in provinces with their required production buildings, or better yet, those provinces have a min morale that's required and may have to be cores.

I don't care about your presence.

Just a my 2 cents worth. I agree units should not be healed whilst out on a battlefield but brigades were not healed but there were reinforced? Not with new brigades. This is well documented in the band of brothers coverage of the 101st airborne division. There were always new 'recruits' and they were transferred in to bolster divisions that were under strength.

My suggestion is that there should be somewhere in that unit where it indicates the replacement strength or amount of replacements filtering into that unit.

I am fresh back to the game recently so please excuse me if i am off the mark

I certainly don't want "heal" or "hopital" (beyond the 15%).

But I would LOVE to see a "merge" button, because I hate paying the cost of 4 wounded units of 18% health which ALSO have the speed debuff. I would much prefer the have one unit of 72% health, even if merging takes some time, so it can only be done at the end of a campaign.

I would love to have that option too.

Now that I think about it, it almost would be like unit healing. You can make new units specifically to send to the front lines to regenerate existing ones. An actual good idea!

No because in unit healing you would have 4 units healed up instead of 1 if merged.

If you merge you would lose 3 units and it would affect your KD ratio.

This is why players often ask for a possibility to disband units. When their unit is at very low health they disband it before it dies and this way they keep their KD intact as officially they would't lose a unit.

Yeah, it wouldn't be complete unit healing, more like additional unit reinforcement, but it could still be used as healing.
