I don't really care for this new update

I joined a game round with the new update, and after 2 in game days I have to say that I am not satisfied with it very much. Yes I know it will take some time to get used to it and figure out new strategies and whatnot, but from the onset it just seems like it isn't good. For one thing, they couldn't even get the resource balancing right. Now that there are only three resources, one of the resources will be at an obvious disadvantage because each country has 5 cities and 1 of the resources will only be in one city while the others get 2 cities. So we have an obvious resource deficit from the start. Furthermore, for the rural provinces, there are still 6 provinces that make resources which is okay. But the problem is that instead of distributing the resources equally, ie having 2 provinces that produce each resource. But in some countries it is a 4-1-1 production which is heavily biased and makes the resource discrepancy worse. Now, this would probably be okay if the resource that gets 4 provinces is the same one that only gets 1 city. But in most countries that is not the case, the resource that gets one city also only gets one rural province which is so unfair.

A little suggestion I have is if Bytro can make a little tutorial or instructions or something that would help both new and returning players to get familiar with the new state of the game, ie resource overhaul etc. It would help us plan better, make new strategies etc.

I agree with what you said about the resource province distribution. I think if the resource distribution and generation was more equal across the board, players would be more satisfied.

I only noticed that i couldn't do much before i ran out of resources. Are they sure they kept the total resource amounts and costs unchanged?

4-1-1 might be cool if you have specific tactics which focus only some units

There’s only so much you can do with a one-sided army.
