Ideas for Future Consideration
I would like to offer the following ideas for future game changes and I apologies in advance if these have already been brought forward.
1. Stealth Units: Should have the option to 'take' or 'not take' a province which would allow them to move through enemy territory and penetrate enemy lines if they go undetected. Not much point in having a 'stealth' unit if moving though provinces is going to give your location away. 'Littering' the battlefield with units for the sole purpose of 'catching' a stealth unit is a bit absurd as well.
2. Split air units into two categories; Low-Level and High-Level. The idea that a group of infantry, tanks, etc, would stand a chance at shooting down a strategic bomber is ludicrous.
--> Low-Level: Interceptors, attack bombers and naval bombers
--> High-level: Tactical bombers, strategic bombers
Then balance damage accordingly. As a side note, I have no idea how you'd do more damage to an aircraft attacking you if you were just sitting there waiting for them to attack you. Defensive damage, without cover, should never be higher than attacking damage.
These two options are for game creation:
1. Gold Use - YES | NO. I'm sure I'm not the only person who'd rather play a match without someone buying the win
2. Unattended Armies - AI Controlled | Army Atrophy. If I wanted to play against a computer, then I wouldn't be here. If you want to 'neglect' your forces, I think 5-10% daily atrophy to unit hitpoints, moral and or resources would be in order.
