Idle Unit Button

Once you have a large quantity of units it can be hard to find all of them that are idle. I would like to see a hot key/button that simply cycles to the next idle unit.

You can cycle through all units with the left and right arrow keys, but that isn't specific to idle units.

Please elaborate. As you know, I've been around for a while and I've played more than a few games. I am unaware of this function or how to access it.

Perhaps this is a job for the Red Arrow!

step one: select a unit.

step two: push the left or right arrow key

You are how slowly looking through the masses of units you have created.

This feature also works on provinces under your control

Interesting. I never knew that was there. I learned something useful today.

Thank you for your concise explanation.

Just tested the left/right arrows; apparently it cycles through the units that are currently displayed on your screen, not any others.

What would be really handy is to be able to at least cycle through all units owned, and ideally those that have not movement or attack orders. A really bang up solution would let you cycle through specific unit types.

No, It cycles through all units, however, the screen does not move to show the unit that is being selected. The game only does that for provinces. On that note, there are also two ingame buttons to cycle through your provinces.
