Increase the 25 player map to 30 players.

It just bothers me a bit that neither Egypt nor South Africa are playable nations and yet are large enough to be so. However, that would make the map 27 players which is just not as nice as 25. The solution? Find three more nations to raise the total to 30. Candidates are: Saudi Arabia, Peru, Columbia, Siam, and New Zealand. Obviously, most of these would need more provinces and starting units to be competitive, but I feel like all of these are in areas that are currently under-nationed. Some might object that several of these have basically nowhere to go early on except through larger nations, and I point you to Canada. It starts with 16 units and it's only neighbor is the US, which has 47.

Also, when did the map get changed? It used to be so pretty and now it's just weird and ugly. Especially Persia. Ugh.
