i am just making this thread to ask the reason for countries to start with 1 interceptor... why having 1 interceptor when you do not even have the technology? it takes so much from the strategy of the game. you can make 2-3 more air fields and you can scout all your neighbours without even having to invest to this technology. can you explain the reasons behind this change?

Keeping in mind, of course, that you don't have the technology to produce any more L1 infantry or L1 armored car units until you do the research, either. And you cannot produce any more anti-aircraft units until you complete the L1 interceptor research and the L1 anti-aircraft research.
The idea behind giving all players one L1 interceptor squadron and one L1 airbase at the outset of the game is to introduce rookies to in-game aircraft operations, aircraft production facilities, and aerial reconnaissance sooner rather than later.
Personally, I think it is a good addition to the game, and helps educate rookies as to the importance of weapons research as well as intelligence, including aerial reconnaissance.

what i mean is a very simple thing. with interceptors in play you have the ability to make tanks and artillery while you have free scouting. also, this can not help the new players, they have no idea how to use air. however, on the hands of experienced ones they can scout easily all enemies, avoid traps and make half of the game strategies useless just with 1 interceptor.

What you're saying here is, "half the game strategies" are useless after a few days anyway.
L1 fighters have pretty bad range, so you usually can't scout much from a single airbase anyway. I found myself not using this fighter very much in FP games last few weeks.
For experienced players, the biggest change is a free airbase towards L2 and thus one city producing tacs a few hours early. Not such a big deal.

think of it this way, most countries also started out with anti-air, but to research that you need the interceptor, so that is the least simple unit at the start of the game, and it was the most useless, there were no air units, and they are almost defenseless against armored cars and infantry
