I was thinking that it would be awesome if CoW added Ireland as a playable nation on the 100 player World Map. I was also wondering if there was a way that the CoW team could do custom maps like how they do it on Supremacy 1914?

Good suggestion!

Ireland would be a nice introduction, in another Bytro game called Thirty kindoms they have Ireland. A player can chose to play it. I hope to one day to see it in this game. funily enough I was just after talking about this to someone else.
Really I thought it would have been made in the 100 player world map when they released it but no sadly, but I will not give up my hope to one day rule Ireland on CoW, as given the time period this game is set it would make for a good Roleplay country and also provide the UK player with more competition. But this is just my humble opinion

Correct Darren! It would be interesting to have other nations, for example Scotland and Wales.

This is stupid, compared to more or less any other playable nation and some unplayable nations, Ireland is weak. Mainly agricultural, small population, very little industrialisation, poorly armed military (during WWII, anyways), cannot produce arms or ammo, no weapon devs experience.
The country is very weak and should not be on the map as a playable nation.

So you propose we put in an unbalanced country that will only be a point rack for the nearest player? I don't think the devs would go for that.

No real reason Ireland shouldn't be in the game. This game is about having fun anyway, their economic issues during the secnd orld war shouldn't prevent it.

Good opinion about this. What do you think about other nations...? I mean, Scotland, Wales etc...

So, what? Grain and goods? You can't even build IC, you will have little to no money and no way to make RM.

Research is very pricey in the world map anyways.

Really? A loss in every area of operations, all leaders either captured or killed along with most of the participants. Loss of arms, ammunition, destruction of city. Failure to have rebellion outside of Leinster, most fighting in Dublin area.
It was a defeat, a loss. Saying otherwise is stupid.
