I was thinking that it would be awesome if CoW added Ireland as a playable nation on the 100 player World Map. I was also wondering if there was a way that the CoW team could do custom maps like how they do it on Supremacy 1914?

How is it important? It's the United Kingdom's piece of Ireland's pie. I would hardly say that it has any importance to the UK. They might do better if they're not always trying to defend it.

Well, it is an invasion springboard for the US and further from most of the UK from mainland Europe, so you can build IC there and be less fearful of bombers. You can also use it to more securely lock down the Irish sea. An easily defendable fall back point in late game too.

I totally agree, but if they make Ireland playable, they have to give it back to them. It's only accurate.

I don't think the nation should be playable full stop.

As I said before, we have not controlled the area for around 400 years so hardly accurate.

Ireland was an independent during the second world war nation, and could be a playable nation. Why not?

Quasi-Duck, believe that Ireland should be added.

So, what, 5 people have actually come along to give a like and show support for an idea? The 4 most active, unbanned users haven't which really says something. Then you have me, 5 against/not bothered enough about it to reply now. None of the newer members seem to care enough to give a like and reply either.

Well, maybe there is a reason for putting it on world map, but I don't think it should be playable.
