It is finished

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Call of War is dead. The murderer's: Bytro and Stillfront. They alone hold responsibility over the death of CoW. They alone will be tried, found guilty, and hanged for their crime.

I have repeatedly held on to the hope, that Bytro could be reasoned with, perhaps they could see what they did, and change it. I was wrong. Bytro and Stillfront do not care about this game, nor its lose of players, they just see money.

The forum will most likely still be somewhat active, and of course, some people will play, but CoW is a dead game.

And that brings me to this question: what now? Perhaps people could play Conflict of Nations, or Iron Order. But these games will never be Call of War, although they use the game style, it will never be CoW.

I got into CoW at age 11, because it was a fun, free to play, World War 2 game that didn't suck, and my school Chromebook could run it. I am grateful now that I have Hearts of Iron 4, which has steadily over taken CoW in interest. But for many people, they enjoyed the simple nature of CoW.

What the future will hold, I do not know. Perhaps someone can make a WW2 game, free to play on the browser like CoW. Perhaps they wont. Maybe Bytro will try to fix the sinking ship, but if they do it, which is very unlikely, it will be too little, too late.

I plan to be active on the forums, and I will try, although it may be for nothing, to try to get Bytro to understand. To understand what they ruined. But should I go down that path, my methods wont be a kindly worded letter, but demands and threats.

That is really all I have to say.

For Bytro, with much hatred and anger, I wish you the worst.
