Wonder if there is a place to set your gender and have the game use King/Queen, Emperor/Empress in the newspaper articles. Just sayin'

I second this. They've made text regarding your reign more gender neutral over the years, but I could see an option to choose what to be addressed as.

I believe that this is an item on the suggestion list for a long time. While things on the list are tackled frequently it will take time to get to everything.
In the meantime perhaps some countries should automatically be ruled by a Queen, regardless of the gender of the player.

That is a good idea [certain countries ruled by a female, UK for example, the Iron Lady, one of the Russias, Catherine the Great [Amanda the Great in this case].

I wonder if they keep track of the list. The developers have been absent for some time... which means that they are creating something. It is normal for them to suddenly jump out with a whole new thing.
