It's ok to use the Fermi. And about the rockets, we are trying to make this as Italian as possible.

Nuclear rocket: Alfa

About the "normal" rockets: I found something but I don't know if they're ok. I'm not an expert...it looks like there are many different kinds of rockets, what are the ones that we need here?

Anyway, here's what I found out:

a) Aspide

The Aspide is an Italian medium range air-to-air and surface-to-air missile. Introduced in 1977, there are 3 different versions of this rocket (Aspide MK.1; Aspide MK.2; Aspide 2000): we can use them as rockets level 1, 2 & 3 if Aspide is OK.

b) Aster

The Aster missile series, primarily comprising the Aster 15 and Aster 30 are a family of vertically launched surface-to-air missiles. Two versions: Aster 15 (short/medium range anti-aircraft and anti-missile missile); Aster 30

(long range anti-aircraft and anti-missile missile).

Introduced in 2001. Maybe they're not old enough.

c) Otomat

The Otomat is an Italian-built, medium-range anti-ship and coastal attack missile introduced in 1977.

d) AIM-120 AMRAAM

The AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile is a modern beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) capable of all-weather day-and-night operations. there is also a surface-to-air version:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-120_AMRAAM#Ground-launched_systems

It's an american rocket but it's used by the italian navy and by the italian air force too:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-120_AMRAAM#Operators

e) PGM-19Jupiter

The PGM-19 Jupiter was the first nuclear tipped, medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) of the United States Air Force (USAF). It was used by the italian air force too:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGM-19_Jupiter#Operators

--------------------------

My suggestion is:

Lvl. 1: Aspide MK.1

Lvl. 2: Aspide MK.2

Lvl. 3: Aspide 2000

Lvl. 4: Aster 15 or Aster 30

Nuclear rocket: Alfa

Nuclear bomber: we can use one of the strategic bombers.

@Marat666

I'm going to use the Alfa as a nuke rocket, and also as the level 1 rocket. I'm afraid I can't use the Aspide because it is not a proper rocket. It doesn't have the range of a V1. And I can't use the Aster 'cos it is wayyyy too recent.

Ops! My bad, I didn't notice their range!

What about the american-made PGM-19Jupiter? Yes, I know they're not indigenous but they were in use in Italy anyway during the cold war.

EDIT: if so, we could add the Tomahawk and the Pershing II that were deployed in the italian NATO base of Comiso.

Did Italy have them or were they in American bases in Italy? Big difference.
The past is a foreign country.

PGM-19Jupiter: wikipedia lists Italy among the operators with the USA and Turkey. And it says: "They were operated by Italian Air Force crews, but USAF personnel controlled arming the nuclear warheads. The deployed missiles were under command of 36ยช Aerobrigata Interdizione Strategica (36th Strategic Interdiction Air Squadron, Italian Air Force) at Gioia del Colle Air Base, Italy."

Then I found this on another site: "The Jupiter's nosecone would carry a 1.45 megaton warhead; launching would involve a system in which both Italian and U.S. Air Force officers would turn keys".

I think that they are ok but I'd like to know your opinion.

I don't have infos about Tomahawk and Pershing II missiles.

The Jupiter is fine.

I'll use the second one.

@Pablo22510

The UGM-27 Polaris has the qualities to be considered a rocket in CoW? It's described as a "two-stage solid-fueled nuclear-armed submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM)". At least, it is a ballistic missile.

There is also the MGR-1 Honest John, a nuclear-capable surface-to-surface missile. The MGR-1B version has a maximum range of only 48 km, more or less.

Definitely using the Polaris. Great job. Rockets finished. Now we have a massive problem because of the crates: elite troops. It's not that it's going to be difficult to find units (and some of them are going to be really hard to find), but it's also that I'm going to have to unlink a lot of stuff to fit the new shit in.

It is just the previous level called "elite". Look at them.

Updated with elite. IT IS FINISHED!

P.S.

We have to get someone to send it to Bytro.

The past is a foreign country.

Great!! Do you think there are chances to see the italian troops in the game? I hope the Bytro guys will agree with that (by the way, how do we send them the suggestions?).

I'll be honest with you: it may be a long time before we see Italian troops on the battlefield. Bytro has a lot of things to do first: fixing bugs, new units, even a British research tree (which you will agree is more important than an Italian one). But hope is the last thing people lose, and I think we might see an Italian research tree in the game - eventually. But messaging Bytro would help a lot. I won't email them, since they don't really like me, but you should. Here's how:

Their email is info@bytro.com Write an email telling them about the importance of Italian troops during the war, about how they should have their own tech tree in game, and how half of the work is already done for them, and put a link for thread. Good luck!

The past is a foreign country.

Ok, then I'll start messaging them until we have italian troops introduced in the game :D

BTW what have you done to them?

Get banned, complain about certain members of the ES Team, etc. There's no love lost between us.

    Huzzzaaahh for progresss.

Any chance the Units will have animations at all? As per suggestion on this thread :

    ( Suggestion No3 : Looped animations. ) <- click this :3

Well, tbh, first things first, and that is getting this damn thing implemented first.

    @Marat666

    Did you send the email?

Nice, so there is hope ^^
