There is only a single texture for all levels of a unit (with the exception of the rocket). Therefore, the texture usually does not match the plane it represents.Khabarovsk krai wrote:
in the Japanese tech tree, the strategic bomber has 4 propellers rightAlso if you check the Image its says that bomber is the Mitsubishi-ki 1 bomber
but the Mitsubishi-ki 1 has TWO Propellers ONLY
yet the Japanese strategic bomber texture show that is has FOUR propellers!,
here’s a fact : Japanese tech tree should not have a strategic bomber at all!
Japanese strategic bomber texture show that is has FOUR propellers!,
but japan in ww2 NEVER had PLANES WITH FOUR PROPELLERS!!!!
If the Japanese tech tree shouldn't even have a strategic bomber, then how do you recommend balancing the game when all other tech trees do?
And you're wrong about the Japanese not having 4 engined planes. I've found two aircraft, the Nakajima G5N and the G8N, which had 4 engines and were built during WWII. While you could argue that they were built in small numbers and never saw service as strategic bombers, they were both designed for that role and, if the war had progressed for another year or two, probably would have seen combat service.
This game is not meant to be 100% historically accurate, if it was then the Allied nations would win every game. Each game is based in an alternate reality where the player has the option to research whatever technology they want. Sure, historically, Japan decided not to pursue full scale development of strategic bombers, but does that mean players of Japan should be restricted from researching the unit?
