Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
I am currently discussing with Butter Ball Bill about the possible existence of the German Haunebu (some kind of UFO). I say it doesn't exist. However, the way we started discussing about it is by debating whether nations like Germany and the SU should have ACs in the game, because they never developed any. It is of our opinion that some nations should have something instead of ACs. I say that the Soviets should have the famous 'Stalin Organs', the rocket launchers, as they the first to develop them and the best.

I got a good one if NZ becomes a playable country or the US needs something special: Tsunami bombs. Look it up, but make sure to put WWII in afterwards otherwise you get a stupid looking band.
this is starting to look like a chat rather than a thread, anyway the tread originated from whether the USSR and Germany should have AC but have not develop their own, and now were started to throw in other super weapons like the Ratte but these weapons were never develop. planed but never develop, although it will be interesting to see helicopters and tanks the size of 2 panzer stack on top of each other with the firepower of a battleship.
but this war is WW2 (and CW) and adding these will result the game being fiction than historical, but hey if they wanted to add it I'm not complaining.
We are looking for things that the Germans and Soviets to have instead of aircraft carriers, since neither of them had those. The best we can come up with is super heavy tanks, which would give the Germans and Russians more prowess on land but not so much on the sea.
the Germans don't have AC, and the Ratte super-heavy tank exist on paper, instead why not pocket battleships? Germany because of the treaty forbid them to have battleships instead Germany have Pocket-battleships. its the size of a cruiser but with the firepower of a battleship.
although that's the only thing i can give for now, i will a little research myself about German and Soviet super weapons.
I take it you have never heard of the Graf Zeppelin? It was the German carrier. They were building it but stopped, I think. Then the Soviets blew up what was left.
Doing a little research on it, turns out that it reached 85% completion before the Nazi's decided that the resources were better used elsewhere.
I don't really like the pocket-battleship idea, because it doesn't make too much difference. It has to be something totally new, revolutionary. I think the best solution is giving Germany the AC, the Katyusha Rocket Launcher to the Soviets and the Italians the human torpedo.
I'm sure they used the fa223 or something similar
I'm sure they used the fa223 or something similar,if the worst comes to the worst we might have to start looking at wolfenstien the new order.
No, no helicopters, They were awful, only a couple tiny bombs and one little MG. We could look at the rheotron or, a Nazi railgun. No, not the Gustav gun, an electromagnet one!
Hahahaha, I told you, Bill. In Wikipedia, in the Wunderwaffe article, it puts 'German UFOs' under 'Ficticious'.
As if Wikipedia is reliable.
You haven't seen iron sky have you bill?
I have, great movie.
What do you mean Wikipedia isn't reliable? It's perfectly reliable.
No its not, anyone can change it. I have done it a multitude of times when I was younger.
i was reading a bit, the Graft Zeppelin, the first German AC it was 85% complete when the war break out, it was never completed and was canceled due to shifting war priorities and was ultimately scuttled by her custodians. it was later recovered by the soviets but was destroyed due to weapons test on it, the ship was rediscovered by a polish monitor ship.
the Soviets also did not have AC before or after the war, they commission some AC but those hulls were sold to the Chinese.
Since...this is a game, we could just give the two AC instead of an alternative.
if not then were better off with the super-heavy tank category and the rocket artillery for Germany and soviets respectively.
I like the super heavy tanks and rocket artillery better.
We arent getting very far coming up with alternatives so what v1nd1cat0r said might be our best bet
