I highly doubt players would lend money in game that would take over 33 game days to repay, especially considering the drop out rate of most games.
Lending money
A cool feature in this game could be beeing abel to lend and borrow money. For exampel if you want to build a factory but you miss 3000 money you could borrow it for an other player at a intrest of 3% you'll going to have to pay 90 money per day. The lender will be abel to lend more money then they have so everybody wins.

Why a new feature? You can already "borrow" money or other resources from other players now:Lukas the great wrote:

Join the coalition of a "lender" (or a spender) if you find one
and exchange with him, for example, 1 of any resource or whatever agreed, for money or whatever you need ..
.. and if you want, you can pay it back with interest in the same way at some point
..or, better than borrowing, you declare war on him and take over his pawnshop

gut one, alter!
reminds me of a request made long ago on S1914 for
a full up banking system,
complete with federal reserves, interest rate adjustements,
adjudicated low-interest loans to 3. world countries,
and late payment penalties.
there were actually some positive replies.
consistent with the general player base:
to quote Montano:
"building is more important than war fighting"
