Lightning games at 100x speed

A problem I see with speed x 10 rounds is that if you go to sleep by the time you wake up the game can be over or you could be invaded and not have been able to do anything about it. I think a fun addition would be 100x speed rounds, that last only 7 hours in total, and can be played out in full in a single afternoon. They would make for intense day long sessions that allow games to end while everyone has a chance to play at all times. They'd proabably weigh heavy on resources and compute but while I only play a CoW game occasionally, if this were a thing I'd probably play a 100x round every weekend. Also you'd have to allow everyone to join before starting the game because a few minutes could make all the difference.

interesting idea but insanely mentally and physically demanding imo

but maybe Bytro should launch a CallOfWar 2.0 specially for this map

otherwise stats get fumbled up totally

Sounds good, Bytro did introduce a tournament last year called call of war speed royale. it ran on 144x speed and was over within hours. There are many videos of it on youtube aswell.

Update: they listened! The new game mode "Flashpoint" is 24x speed and it lasts for 30 hours, and since most games probably end before that, it's more like 16-20, which is a full day. Beautiful addition. Thanks bytro!
