I think there should be limits on how much planes can be put on airfields. The maximum amount would increase as you upgrade the airfield. This would make upgrading airfields more beneficial. Realistically, you wouldn't have a 30 stack of planes on the same airfield, they would be spread out over multiple provinces. Also I think tactical bombers should take up 2x the amount as interceptors because they are bigger and it doesn't make sense how you can fit the same amount of them on a carrier as interceptors and attack bombers. While realistically you have multiple airfields per province it would be more accurate to cap the max amount of aircraft per airfield in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Completely agree. Works in the same thread as SBDE stacking: you shouldn't just be able to put your entire army in one city and expect them to all work at maximum efficiency. Airfield capacity would add to the realism of the game.

Really easy: europe universalis 1 device - Implementation of weight of strikeforce and limited capacity of province (for all strike forces not only airforces, but air units could have greater weight ) . By over weight lose of hitpoints every hour like forced march, but a little bit lower. Like 1% per hour for overweight by all troops in province, and 5% by overweight by single stack.
Not friendly provinces have another debuff to overweight etc.

Now to give you real answere, most of the WW2 aircrafts were extreamly light weight. You can easyly park them on grass next to airstrip if airstrip is full.
