This feature would work just like the Province list but show you the name, location and makeup of all your armies.
I have to imagine that many people have asked for this. Didn't see it on the top list of threads though.

the last time this was suggested, It gained a lot of traction within the community. but it seems Bytro overlooked it. Otherwise, A good suggestion. Maybe things will be different this time.
You mean like in the city window another tab with the amount of units in the province? I would find that useful.

includes a list of units, their composition, location, mission(s) and status.

Even if it was just a list that would open and you could select the groups to display their full info in the usual place, like this:
Although additional information in the list would be welcome indeed. Critical details such as condition, number of units, and an icon for being in battle would take up very little space on the main list. Location would be awesome as well, to make it easier to select the right one to start with.
I believe this suggestion is already on the very long suggestion list. I hope it is getting closer to the top

In lieu of something more detailed and/or graphically pretty, I would gladly accept a pop-up list of unit numbers and names for each stack, together with the provinces the province where they are presently located. The initial version of this does not have to be a big, hairy deal.VorlonFCW wrote:

My thought is that if the list could be left open on the side of the screen without blocking a lot of the action this would make it handy to select units from the list, without having to close the list to give orders to one unit, and then open the list again to find another unit.MontanaBB wrote:

Most cases this would be handy when you have multiple units in close proximity and have a hard time selecting the one you want.

We may or may not work already on something regarding improving the game overview that could reduce the need for an extra army menu. But no spoilers

It is implemented already in the beta client. You can switch to the beta client in the settings menu on the main website.
Just put what is in the beta client in the main game, it is amazing and does everything that people could want with this tab. Also, being able to tab between armies is amazing and super usefulfreezy wrote:

Also, advertise the beta client more, while frontier pioneers do exist, I didn't even realize that the Beta Client is separate from frontier pioneers until a couple of weeks ago and I have been playing this game for about 4 years
At some point (after more polishing and testing) it is planned to roll out the beta client to replace the old one, so at that point everyone will have the army list as well. If you don't wanna wait you can already switch to the beta client though as I explained. Thanks for the feedback!
Just tried the Beta client for the first time. The extra army tab is amazing!!!!!
I have been playing this game for years and never knew of the existence of the Beta Server.

Even if it has only been out for 8 months, it is amazing and should be advertised more as I suspect there are people who are willing to switch, even if it means there might be a bug once in a while for all of the benefits
