Make chat moderators' life easier by allowing them to pin comments
The recent problems with players losing rank and statistics have highlighted an issue in chat: moderators frequently have to make the same comments over and over and over. Every 30 seconds during busy hours someone has been asking "what happened to my rank!!" and some poor moderator adds to his carpal tunnel syndrome by telling him "It's a bug, It affects everyone, it will get fixed, be patient, blah, blah, blah." I mean HUNDREDS of times a day they have to make the same exact comment. Sure, most of them have mastered copy and paste, but still, it's a pain.
My suggestion is that qualified chat moderators have a tool to "pin" one or more comments to the chat channel so it appears in the window of everyone who opens the chat window. Then players can see the info about the current bug(s) without a moderator having to tell them personally. And on days when there are no known bugs, the moderators can pin a message answering common questions such as the perennial "how do I heal my units".
I've played other MMOs with this feature, and it seems to work pretty well. The pinned message might be titled "message of the day", or if multiple pins are allowed, message of the day 1, message of the day 2, message of the day 3, etc. Or abbreviate MoTD1, MoTD2, etc. You do want to take care not to pin so many MoTDs the players have to scroll down a hundred lines before they can see actual player comments -- that just leads to the MoTDs being ignored.
