Glory to the Red Army!
Glory to the Revolution!
Marshal of the Forum High Command
Right now, my ally Italy is about to be attacked by Libya. We expect to be victorious, but setting up proper naval defenses is extremely difficult especially when the only routes shown are dots, which are often invisible. The only way we can make rough guesses to where the routes are is by constantly making them move in different directions and seeing where the arrow goes. This method will work for now, but it took 10 minutes of tinkering around every island and area just to cover the sea surrounding Italy. Why can't we have an option to have the routes more visible? It's absolutely stupid how difficult it is just to see the preset routes of ships.

I saw a very similar thread to this as well. The consensus was the same; people should be allowed to have an option if they wish. I see nothing wrong with this.
PS: When moving a unit, you can look down and see a bar that says βconfirm unit movementβ or something similar. Turn it on and it should make things like this much easier.
They have sea routes on Iron Order 1919, which makes things easier. And unfortunately I can't confirm unit movements on mobile, so I have to keep reselecting the units and waiting for them to buffer every time I move them. The method works fine, but you shouldn't have to put that much time into something that should be done in a few clicks.
I use mobile, it works there. If you still canβt figure it out I can show an image!
Either it went right over my head, or I am not thinking of the right thing. A screenshot would be good...
As you wish, here is one from a doomsday I got my ass kicked in!
Notice skip command confirmation? Turn it off.
Doomsday, the k/d destroyer
It went right over my head, it's disabled by default for me. That will be very useful for the time being.
I got wrecked in doomsday, my kd fell by 0.13
I use the low graphics option and have no problems seeing the sea dots on PC and planning sea routes. On my phone is a little different, but either I have the same problem as you guys or my eyes are just getting older.
Although it is possible to see the dots on low graphics, everything else looks ugly. And Bytro also forgets the fact that not all people have 20/20 vision. I have eye problems myself and sometimes it can be difficult to just see where things are.
To me CoW is a strategy game, I donβt play it for the graphics. I just want to be able to differentiate between terrain easily when Iβm sleep deprived or checking in on the game at 2am. For me, thatβs easiest to do on low graphics mode.
Well to play devilβs advocate, if you can have both at the same time, why not take it? Just add a optional setting that makes sea-lanes and points more more visible and youβre good!
Having good graphics is a good part of any game.
