Make strong countries AI in all countries all in

Strong countries are way too OP in all countries all in. If a strong nation like germany or uk wants to attack a small, weak nation, the small country has no chance. So I suggest making all strong nations (the 25 nations in historic world war) all AI next time you do all countries all in. This way it would be more balanced and small countries can actually have a chance of winning.

Don't say that the AI countries have no chance of winning. I've joined an all countries all in map as Luxembourg once, and I conquered Germany. With these kind of maps, anything is possible, and that's what makes them so great.

I actually have the opposite frustration. I am totally annoyed when a big player, like the US in my current game, goes AFK a few days into the game. What effect does this have on the game? A massive serving of 280 points that are poorly defended and up for grabs. The game basically becomes a scramble to cannibalize all the inactive people, which is not even remotely challenging combat, which is much less fun than playing against a real person. In fact, I would support a move to track how often people finish a game to the end without going inactive, and require that they have a certain completion rate to play as a bigger country. This could scale with the size of the country. So, for example, if you AI before the game ends 30% of the time, then you can't start as a country bigger than, say, 100 points, and if you AI 50% of the time, then you can't start with a country bigger than 50 points, on down the line. This way only those players that stick it out and play for real can play as the bigger countries. I am not committed to any of those specific percentages or anything, those are simply to illustrate a concept.
