Map scrolling range

On PC you are able to scroll in the horizontal directions to where the edges of the map are in the center of the screen. In the vertical directions this is much more restricted. It would be useful if you could scroll further in the vertical directions. I often find myself needing to zoom in, in order to get a map position where I want it, which is annoying.
