Marines

MarinesMarines were the backbone of the American invasion of the Pacific Islands, clearing out the Japanese defenders for the garrisons that would occupy them. Marines were so effective, due to their amphibious training and skill. Marines in Call of War would make a good unit to blitz coastal provinces, as they could have a reduced embark and disembark time, along with more efficient defense while embarked.

Lots good, hope Marines arrive soon.

lol

Very good stat combinations. I like your thinking :D

The idea is that its great for invading overseas, yet has an average stats to make up for their speed and decreases embark/disembark time.

They have a bad Defense because they are more pure offense in use, kind of like in real life. Developed off Infantry Level 3, in the Secret Category.

@purplepizza117 There is a similar Unit in Sid Meier's Civilization 5. That is where my idea for a Call of War Marine came from. The Civ Marine has a promotion called 'Embarkation with Defense' which negates the penalty for being in a convoy when under attack. Due to their full Defense values in water, this allows them to take a hit while they travel to their destination, and invade with minimal damage.
