likely player laziness and ai inflation, plead your case in the news articles if your playing in 100 players usually you can establish some trades to get you through the day.
Market needs work
The small bids when you try to sell materials and now the prices jumping to 30 in no time are both very bad and need some love. That's all.

Okay i started a new game, immediately every resource costs 30. If that's intended then it's RIP market.
As I said many times, the problem is the fee on order entry (as opposed to order execution). People don't want to enter orders that cost money if they have a chance that the price moves the "wrong way" for them, and the order never gets executed.
Before these fees were introduced, the markets worked just fine (I'm not talking abusers now; just the normal buying and selling of goods). Since this system was introduced, the market is dead on all maps.
do not use the market much,
but the few times I have, the trade fee is charged at execution, not when the order is placed.
the big problem is the IgnorAnts all trying to sell at the max of 30.
Check again when you enter an order, one that isn't executed immediately. You'll see the fee in the overlay, and your money drop when you press OK. It isn't refunded when you withdraw the order later on.
