maybe bring back the 1944 event and also make a 1942 event map??

Hey Commanders and Devs,

I wanted to suggest something I think many players would love to see — the return of the 1944 Endgame map and the introduction of a new 1942 World War map.

The 1944 Endgame map was such a unique experience — the late-war setup, and faction balance made it stand out from the usual scenarios. It was intense, strategic, and honestly just a lot of fun. A lot of us miss that mode and would really appreciate seeing it back in rotation.

Also, a 1942 map would be an amazing addition. It would represent a crucial turning point in WWII — midway through the war, with both Axis and Allies having strong positions but plenty of uncertainty. It’d offer a nice blend of early and late war dynamics.

Just putting this out there in hopes it gets some traction. Would love to hear what others think!
