Merging Troops

Here’s a not-so-realistic idea that I have for the game. (Most likely not implemented)

An option to merge troops.

So for example, if you merge medium tanks with paratroopers, then maybe medium tanks will be able to fly and land behind enemy lines, just like paratroopers.

Another example would be merging attack bombers with submarines. So in land, the merged unit will function like attack bombers, but it can also fly into the water and become a unit similar to a submarine.

So first, the two units would need to be in their elite level and standing together. Then, similar to the upgrading process, they will take up resources and manpower, and can only defend while merging. Once they merge, they will be a unit that has the best characteristics of both units, like stealth and scout.

Like I said, probably an unrealistic feature, but it’s just an idea I had.

Looking for improvement.

I know loads of people think they shouldn't be added, but damn I really want it, and Nucelar units would be very cool for roleplays.

They used to exist as the max level for subs and battleships, but they no longer are here.

Aeroplanes are interesting toys but of no military value.

A pretty mechanical toy [...] the war will never be won by such machines.

This is no cap fr the best idea I heard in a long time. Add this, sharks, mutant camels and fire-breathing dragons and I will literally cry tears of joy.
I just realised, you got one of your wishes granted.
