Minefields

I think that Bytro should add more static defenses such as minefields and tank traps to slow down units. There could be a special unit like an engineer that could build these in provinces and take down enemy obstacles.

imagine the trolling possibilities if you could place minefields

This has been suggested frequently over the past few years but dev's have the feeling that this would over complicate the game. Fortifications comprise mine fields in a way and tank traps can be the AT and tank destroyers that are invisible in forests.

That would be really cool in a event map but it would be annoying otherwise.

But great idea.

If minefields come to the game in any point, they would be very weak and noone would use them or OP, that is my felling abouth them.

And if soo haopends to be, then it will cause need for another unit that would be able to neutralize minefields.
