The whole morale and provincial rebellion element of this game is a bit ridiculous... There shouldn't be HALF my occupied provinces rebelling just because my capital falls or because I am not winning the war for the first little while. Just because it takes me more than 3 seconds to recapture a lost province, my morale should not drop into the 20's and 30's and have provinces rebelling like crazy. It is the biggest disadvantage to any player, and makes it virtually impossible to recover from an attempted invasion.
especially when you have colonies

I voted Nope,this hasn'st affected me.
Because moving forward invading other nations im repairing any province with infrastructure, industrial complex, ect
or building them, and probably most important whilst doing this is to have at least 1 unit stationed there.
Yes you will occasionally get the odd province that will have rebellion,But no where near the scale you mentioned.

There isn't anything wrong with the way province morale works if you understand it.

Worse yet:
A neighbor loses his Capitol, and suddenly at day change,
a half dozen worthless provinces revolt to your country;
since you have higher morale than any other neighbors!
stuck with the extra food and goods to maintain provinces you had no desire to take.
penalized for having a high morale country.

That is one way to look at it.

Do you have a different view point?
Or just trolling?

I was amused as I had not really thought of it that way before as a "penalty" I thought the emoticons would convey amusement, perhaps they did not.

I would honestly prefer is the distance from capital was reduced. Not a lot, but I'm tired of -30s ruining my morale.

Exactly right. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the way province morale works, and it is, in fact, easily dealt with, thanks to all the tips and advise that players can get looking at guides like yours and on so many of the threads on this very forum.
The only real challenge in this game is when you come up against a dedicated, active and competent adversary.
