I'm underlining the general idea. These ideas may be very time consuming, impossible, and pointless.
CoW 1942 is a great... game?... I've been playing for about a month, now, and I've enjoyed it, mostly. The largest upset I had when I first began playing was that it was pretty slow. I'm just used to more fast paced games that I can play for hours straight, and I was disappointed to find out that it was going to take two days to get a Destroyer to bombard a city. Though, I was real new then. I don't dislike that the game's at its pace, though. It works for those who don't have hours upon hours of playtime. I'd like if there were a more fast-paced mode, though.
Something that I'd find very helpful, though I understand if it doesn't happen because it'd take a *very* long time or would be forever impossible, the... units as they appear on the map... when you're able to control them... If I had a Medium Tank that, at its level, it'd be a Panther, I want it to appear as a Panther tank and not a Panzer IV. Apply to all other units.
A greater diversity in production and unit stats. By diversity in production, I just mean being able to make--say a level one infantry unit when I've researched level four. Price, consumption, and stats based on a unit's level. Last I checked, a level two heavy tank costs and consumes the same amount of resources as a level three heavy tank, I very much disagree with this. Resource cost and consumption should differ based on the unit's level.
Unit experience. The more battles your troops participate in, the better they become, a raise in stats and whatnot. That's it.
