Names for ALL Ships

That would be very nice.

Phew! I thought people were gonna start saying it's just stupid, like they did with the flag and portrait business.

It's nice to have but not important. The Defs say that it's maybe come in future but not now!

Every single ship now has its own name - the letter country authentication and serial number. Moreover, if you click on the ship, we see the name of the ship class. My opinion is that for small vehicles that is enough.

I disagree and I am sure many captains of subs, destroyers and cruisers would disagree with you too. Also players.

Look at what's really going on and you will notice that the battleships, bombers and missiles are many players in the game do not have names. Players often simply leave the input field blank and click OK. That's what I do.

I do not mind names, I really like to watch the ship has a beautiful historical name. If you recall the story, then the destroyers and submarines rarely have names - only the British and the US Navy, but even there in the first place designated serial numbers. So that's what we have now is quite realestichno. If we talk about the Navy - let developers concentrate better and finish it aircraft carriers. I think you should not distract them for what is not a problem.

Sandevot, you might not put names on ships, but I do. And saying that putting names on all ships is stupid just because you don't do it is just plain egoism. Think about others.

I'd love to name my Subs! I always thought cruisers should have had this from the beginning- and while i don't make use of destroyers that much, i'm sure I could find a good few names for them.

I totally agree with this idea. It should be put into the game when they introduce Aircraft carriers.

After a quick look, most American subs and destroyers had names.

Maybe having a toggle option on the side (with the options) on whether or not you are prompted to name the unit?

I have wanted this too. Go and see how long the British have been naming warships? I think it a great Idea. I would like to add, if I could, How about having to build troops and tank carriers ships. Better than just turning in a ship and sail?

It is possible, but I don't think practical.

I agree with Pablo. Maybe we could build a faster moving one that gives the landing troops more strength when landing.
