Have you ever looked at your empire and went "Ach mein gott, thats alot of land!" Well I do, and I also get confused at this solid lump of field-grey.
So, I suggest as a method of managing our empires, we should have a function that shows us conquered land with their original borders, thus allowing us a better view of our defences.
I should note this would work something like 'morale view' and will show each nation in its starting colour: like pink for Poland, red for the USSR.

Sounds like a good idea, but I always think it is fun seeing my big Grey or Red blob on the map.
